Spanning the Globe
In addition to the United States and Canada, Global Spectrum has expanded its international presence to Asia. The company was selected for one of the biggestpublic facility projects ever – the $1.25 billion Singapore Sports Hub. Global Spectrum’s expertise in facility management was recognized and utilized by the consortium that will design, finance, build, and manage the project, which is being called “Premiere Park.” It will feature among its aspects a 55,000-seat multi-purpose stadium. Global Spectrum also is aggressively pursuing new public assembly facility projects in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Russia.

Global Spectrum is in the midst of expanding its global footprint internationally.  Having already established a solid and growing presence in North America, which includes venues in the United States and Canada, the company has planted roots in Asia and Europe.  Through a partnership with PICO, its Asian partner, Global Spectrum Asia has been selected to manage and operate Premiere Park in Singapore, a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex, now being developed, that will feature a 55,000-seat stadium, a 12,500-seat arena and an aquatic center.  In partnership with the NEC Group of Birmingham, England, Global Spectrum Europe manages and operates a new 12,500-seat arena in Split, Croatia.  Both Global Spectrum Asia and Global Spectrum Europe are actively pursuing new international venue management opportunities.

Global Spectrum Europe

Global Spectrum, in collaboration with the British firm NEC Group Birmingham, has formed a joint venture called Global Spectrum Europe. The NEC Group operates the National Exhibition Centre, LG Arena and NIA Arena, all in Birmingham, England.  Based on the outstanding credentials and successes of the two companies, Global Spectrum Europe has become a management firm of great interest to developers and public operators of new and existing public assembly venues all over the Continent.

Global Spectrum Europe provides a complete management solution, providing expertise and services to market, sell, and operate stadiums, arenas, performing arts centers, exhibition centers, and theaters throughout Europe. In keeping with the company’s corporate philosophy of being responsive and involved in the community, each venue’s General Manager and staff members actively develop and maintain programs for community involvement, including support of charities and community activities, responsible customer services, and programs for ecological sustainability. Though young as a company, Global Spectrum Europe has the bloodlines and experience to meet the needs of public assembly venues throughout Europe.

 

Global Spectrum Facility Management (Canada)

Global Spectrum Facility Management, the Canadian arm of public assembly facility management firm Global Spectrum, is located in London, Ontario at the John Labatt Centre.

Since assuming management responsibilities for arenas, community ice facilities, and convention centres throughout Canada, Global Spectrum Facility Management has attracted world-class entertainment, sporting events, and conventions to its Canadian venues. Global Spectrum Asia

Global Spectrum has partnered with the Asian-based PICO group of companies to form Global Spectrum Asia, Ltd., which provides management and consultancy services to several projects in Asia including Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chongqing China and Xian Greenland Pico Convention and Exhibition Center in Xian China. Global Spectrum Asia is capable of providing a full range of management, operation and consultancy services for multi-purpose mass assembly venues including convention centers, exhibition centers and sports facilities. PICO is a global event marketing company. It was established in 1970 and currently has offices in 30 cities worldwide. It has been involved in creative, production and project management work for exhibitions, conventions and events all over the world including Athens Olympics, Beijing Olympics, Singapore's World Bank Conference, Hong Kong's World Telecoms and other trade and non-trade events.
